Moving an Image

Click the graphic to display graphic frame.
Hold down the Alt key, and then click the image while holding the left mouse button down and dragging the image to move it.

Adjusting the Size of Image

Click the graphic to display graphic frame.
Hold down the Alt key and move mouse to edge of image frame until you see the resizing cursor.
Click the left mouse and move frame to resize the image.

You can set the distance of text around an image, and you can specify how it is displayed. You can also move an image

To format an image

1.Select the image in your document by clicking on it.
2.From the Format menu, select Image...

 

Specify display Options

 

Fast Display will show the image as a place holder. You will not see the image but only see it's size and where it is located in the document. If the image file is deleted, since it is not part of the document, it will not print when the document is printed.

 

Save as Data displays the full image. The graphic image is part of the document. If the image file is deleted, the image will still appear in the document and print out.

Specify Image Borders

 

Specify Image Borders in inches. For example, if you want the image to be a half inch from the text , enter .5 in the Image Borders fields. Text will wrap according the these margin settings.

 

Click OK to save.

Note:  Images that have been cut or copied and pasted into your document are placed as characters. Move these images as you would move text. Pasted images cannot be resized.
