Backup recommendations |

Back up your data on a daily basis. If your computer has more than one hard drive, back up onto a drive other than the one in which your working data is stored. If you have only one hard drive, back up onto another hard drive, a CD, tape, or other removable media.
Remember, an important reason for backing up data is to protect against a hard drive failure. We recommend that you make backups daily to a removable drive to keep in the office as well as a copy that is kept off site.
The first time you do a daily backup, make several sets of backups. Label your backup sets "QuicDoc Backup Monday," "QuicDoc Backup Tuesday," etc.
Minimally, at least once a week, make a backup copy to keep off your premises. |
