QuicWord opens documents which have been saved in the following formats:
Rich Text Format (rtf)
Hypertext Markup Language (html)
MS Word (doc)
ANSI Text (txt)
Templates (tx)
To open
| 1. |  Click the Open button on the toolbar, or select Open from the File menu. |
| 2. | Select the type of file to open in the Files of Type field (e.g. *.RTF). |
| 3. | In the Look in field, click the drive and folder that contains the document. |
| 4. | Select the document, and click Open. |
If you know where a file is located, you can type the full path and filename in the File name field. By default QuicWord saves files in the QuicDoc Documents folder.
To open an ANSI text file, click the file format *.txt in the Files of type field, and then double-click the document name.
Note: Your most recently used files are listed at the end of the File menu. Click the file name at the bottom of the File menu to open.
