From the Medications window the fastest way to write a prescription is to select the medication (assuming you've entered it first) and drag the medication to the Prescription button at the bottom of the window. This is similar to clicking the New button in the Prescription Record Sheet except your medication data will already be entered in the Prescription window for you.
