Appointments can be marked Checked In, Kept, Missed, Patient Canceled, or Therapist Canceled in the QuicDoc Scheduler. Once marked, you can do a note for that session right from the appointment in the Scheduler.
Select an appointment to mark by clicking on it. Right click for a menu, and select the status type to mark the appointment.
Do an Intake or Progress Note from an Appointment in the Scheduler
For an appointment marked Kept, depending on the CPT code entered in the New Appointment window, you can do either a new Intake or Progress Note for the client.
Select the appointment. (It must be marked Kept). Right click and select Session Note..., or select it from the Appointments menu. This launches a new note which opens in the Session Information section.
The appointment date, time, and CPT code as entered for the appointment will automatically be entered in the corresponding fields for the note, and the note will be listed in the Note Hx tab, Patient window.
Do a Missed Appointment Note from an Appointment in the Scheduler
You can do a Missed Appointment note on an appointment marked Patient Canceled or Therapist Canceled.
Select the appointment. (It must be marked Patient or Therapist Canceled). Right click and select Session Note..., or select it from the Appointments menu. This launches a new Missed Appointment note.
The appointment date and type as entered for the appointment will automatically be entered in the corresponding fields for the note, and the note will be listed in the Note Hx tab, Patient window.
