QuicDoc's messaging system allows users to send and receive messages to and from other users.
Write and Send Messages
1. | Select Messages from the Write menu. |
2. | From the drop down list in the For field, select the User/Provider to whom you want to send a message. |
4. | Enter information in the While You Were Out fields. |
5. | Click check boxes that apply. |
6. | Enter a message in the Message text box. |
This text box must have an entry in order for the message to be sent.
7. | Click Send. Fields will clear, ready to send another message. |
Selecting Clear will clear all the fields. Click Cancel to close.
Check Messages
If you have messages from other users, when you log onto QuicDoc a mail slot image is displayed in the status bar at the bottom, right of the window in the date/time panel.
Click on the mail slot at the bottom of the window or on the toolbar, or select Check Messages from the View menu.
The Messages dialog box has three tabs:
New: Lists all new messages, date and time sent, and who sent it. They remain on the list until read.
Old: Lists messages you've read.
Sent: Lists messages you've sent, who they were sent to, and if they've been read.
Read Message
Print Message
• | Click Print in Message window. Click Cancel to close. |
Delete Message
• | Select View...Check Messages. |
• | Click the tab in Messages dialog box for messages you've read or sent. |
• | Select the message, and click Delete. |
