Page Numbering

To insert a header or footer in your document:

Select Header or Footer from the Insert menu.

This activates the header or footer area which is outlined by a dotted border.

Type your text in the header or footer area. You can format the text and set text alignment.

 

When you click out of the header or footer area, it is deactivated and the focus is set back to the main text. When a header or footer is activated, the main text is displayed in black, otherwise a header's or footer's text is displayed in gray.

To edit a header or footer

Click in the area to activate it, and then make changes and click out of the area.

To delete a header or footer

Select Header or Footer from the Insert menu again. This un-checks the menu item and removes the header or footer.

Page numbering in QuicWord

Page numbering appears in the footer area of documents.

To add Page Numbers

Select Page Numbering from the Insert menu. This will activate the footer area and insert the current page number of the document.
To change the number from the current number, simply type the number you want to use in the footer area and replace the existing number.

 

Use standard formatting to format the text and set the text alignment for your numbers in the footer.
