As an optional note you can enter a SOAP Note for the session. By default it is part of the Progress Note. You can also set it up to appear in any note or report.
To enter a SOAP Note, select Documentation...New...Progress Note.
Type in the text boxes for:
Entries are automatically saved. You can also address other Progress Note Sections and other Optional Sections. For example, if you have entered symptoms at intake, you may want to track them. Click the Optional Sections button bar, and then click on Symptoms/Impairments on the side listbar. Double click on a symptom or impairment to edit the severity rating. Spell check Select Spell Check from the File menu to perform a spell check. Be sure to move your cursor to each text field that you want to check.
