Troubleshooting on your own:

When troubleshooting, keep the steps simple. Try the most basic approach, starting at the beginning and retracing your steps to see if you missed or skipped anything. Exploring the problem will help you to explain it clearly if you must call DocuTrac Support for help.

If you’re not sure how to do a procedure, check the online Help which is customized for each window.
Check the topics in the Help Contents.
From the Patient window, Help menu, select QuicDoc on the Web, choose QuicDoc's Technical Support, and check for answers to questions and tips on using QuicDoc.

Windows and other problems

Make more memory available to QuicDoc. To do this, close any other applications that you have open.

Try a related procedure. For example, if you have a printing problem, test the printer by trying to print something else, such as printing a report if you can't print lists or labels. If you can't print at all from QuicDoc, try printing from another application. If you can't print anything, the problem is most likely related to the printer, the cabling, or its connections. Check the cable connections to your computer and make sure you have the correct printer setup in your Control Panel.

Installing new software and hardware can sometimes cause conflicts. If something used to work, consider what you've installed or changed since it last worked correctly.

A problem may often be the result of a problem with your Windows operating system or your hard disk. If you need more information on how to resolve specific problems in Windows, refer to the Windows online Help.
