Scheduler Icon The Address Book is a simple viewing tool you can use while in the Scheduler. It contains read-only listings of Patients/Clients, Insurance Company Contacts, and Referral Sources that have been entered in QuicDoc. There is also a listing for Personal Contacts.

Open the Scheduler.  Select Address Book from the File menu.

 

Select Contacts: To access a specific list (e.g. Referral Sources), click the down arrow to the right of the Select Group field. Select a group of contacts from the pick list.

 

Search: You can search a name on the list by typing the name in Search field. The closest match will be highlighted in the list.

 

Print: To print the current list, select Print from the File menu, or click the Print button on the toolbar.

Personal Contacts

Email Email

If you enter a personal contact's email address, you can select E-Mail from the File menu, or click the E-Mail button, to launch your default email program. The email address will be automatically inserted.
 

To add Personal Contacts

down arrow Select Personal from the Select Group drop-down list.
Select New Contact from the File menu, or click the New button on the toolbar.
Enter a name and other information as desired.
To add a note, click the Notes button. Enter your note in the text field. Click Ok.

 

To edit Personal Contacts

Select a name from the list.
Select Edit Contact from the File menu, or click the Edit button on the toolbar.
Change information. Click Ok.

 

To delete a Personal Contact

Select a name from the list.
Select Delete Contact from the File menu, or click the Delete Contact button on the toolbar. Click Ok.
