Scheduling
Before you can enter group appointments in the scheduler, you will first need to set up the groups in the Groups View in QuicDoc. QuicDoc allows you to schedule a specific room for your group while scheduling the group appointment.
To schedule a group:
1. | Click on a time slot in the Scheduler Day or Week View to highlight a block of time. Select New Appointment...Schedule Group from the Appointments menu, or right-click and select Schedule Group.
Click the down arrow to the right of the Group field to select a group from the list. This assumes you have already setup your groups in QuicDoc's Group View.

2. | Click the down arrow to the right of the Location filed for a pick list of locations to select one.

3. | To simultaneously schedule a room in the Room Scheduler for the group appointment, click the down arrow for a pick list of rooms. This assumes that you have setup your rooms list.
Or click the Browse button to check the Room Scheduler for the date selected. The appointment is listed as Current Appointment until it is saved to the database. Select the room from the pick list. The time is automatically entered for you. Click OK to save the room for the appointment.

4. | By default all members of the group are marked as scheduled. Un-check any member who is not scheduled or cannot attend. You can edit the appointment later and un-check other members who were absent or check other members who unexpectedly attended.

5. | Enter the Start and End times. Change the date if applicable.

6. | You can enter a note concerning the group appointment if needed.
