Top Previous Next |
The Audit Log security feature (Administrative logon required) allows you to track and audit activity in the program. All viewing of information, additions, changes, and deletions can be tracked. When enabled, the audit log tracks the activity, date/time, user, computer user, and name. The log tracks activities for Patient Information and Documentation. Enable Audit Log To enable the Audit Log, use the System Administrator logon to log onto QuicDoc. From the Setup menu select Preferences, and click the Administrative tab. Then click to check the option for Enable Audit Log, and save the setting. View the Audit Log Report From the Reports menu select Audit Log. The report will list the QuicDoc User, Date/Time, Area (e.g. Patients), Description of Activity (e.g. Viewed Details for Client, John Doe), computer name and computer user. Depending on the extent of tracking, the log database can grow significantly over time. You can purge the database and archive records in a simple text file.
The file name and location for purged entries is displayed. Make a note of its name and location for future reference if needed. Click Close to exit. |
