What the Ledger Shows The Ledger in Office Therapy acts as the transaction center. In QuicDoc the Ledger is Read-Only and shows the following: All transactions are listed by date, in descending order, in the Action column including charges, payments, adjustments, refunds, insurance write offs, and check returns. All responsible parties are listed in the Party column. The Amount column shows the amount of a charge, payment, or other action such as a refund. Payment and adjustments are listed as negative amounts ($75.00). Amounts listed for Fee Reduction are automatically calculated in the Standard Charge for the Client Setup in Office Therapy. They are based on the Provider fee and the Insurance Allowed rate for the service as entered in Office Therapy. The amounts listed for Adjustments are those entered in the Billing Distribution section of the Office Therapy Charge window. The Net Charge, the Amount Paid, and the Amount Due are listed for each charge. The Ledger in QuicDoc also displays the client's current balance.
