Generate and Print Notes and Reports

After completing your clinical note or treatment plan, you can compile the data into a word processor document which can be edited and printed for your paper chart. The note is loaded into QuicDoc's word processor. You can send the note to another word processor of your choice. This option is  set up in Preferences.

To generate a note or plan and send it to the word processor
 

1.Note and Preview Small  From the Note view, select Generate Note... from the File menu.

 

Generate options  When you are in the Preview mode, click the Generate Note Options button.

2.From the Generate Note/Report window, select the note sections you want to include by clicking on the section, and then clicking Add. If you have created your own report sequences, you can select one from the sequence drop-down list.

 

To include all sections, click Add All. To remove a section, select it from the sequence list,and click Remove. To re-order sections in the sequence list, select a section and use the Up or Down buttons to change the order.

3.Select Page Header text (e.g. Client Name and ID) to appear at the top of each page of the note or treatment report.
 
4.If you have not setup a Report Header or want to change the Report Header click Set Report Header (blue text at bottom, center of window). The Report Header appears on the first page, at the top of your notes or reports.
 
5.checkbox Options: You can check Mental status narrative, otherwise it will be print in list form. For Treatment Plans you can check the Patient review statement checkbox.
 
6.Click Patient Info Preferences (blue text at bottom, right of window) to set the information you would like to appear for each note at the top of page 1 (e.g. patient's age, address, etc.)
 
7.Select Generate to send it to the word processor.
