QWIcon The word processor is launched when you generate notes and treatment plans, or when you write letters, memos, and faxes if set up as the default word processor. QuicWord can also be opened from the Write menu in QuicDoc. Select Launch Word Processor.

 

Menus

QuicWord contains standard editing menus. The Window menu allows you to open and view multiple documents, depending on your available memory. Right click for a pop up menu within a document for easy access to editing, formatting, and spell checking.

 

Toolbar

The toolbar provides short-cuts for many of QuicWord's functions. Positioning the mouse cursor over a button display a tool tip for each button's function.

 

Paragraph Bar

The Paragraph Bar provides text formatting shortcuts such as fonts, tabs, and text alignment.

 

Status bar

The status bar at the bottom of the screen displays the cursor's current position, page, line, and column numbers; as well as num, cap and type over locks, and the current zoom selection.

 

File Name

The active document's file name appears in QuicWord's title bar.

 

File formats

QuicWord creates and reads the following file formats:

Rich Text Format (rtf)

Hypertext Markup Language (html)

MS Word (doc)

ANSI Text (txt)

Template (tx)
