Notes and Treatment Plans

Patients

Patients/Clients can be deleted only when there are no associated records or outcome measures. All associated records and measures must be deleted first before a patient can be deleted. If you are unable to delete the associated records, consider making the patient inactive.

Referral Source and Insurance Companies

Referral Source and Insurance Companies can only be deleted when there are no associated patients. They can, however, be made inactive.

Users

Deleting Users requires the Administrative logon. Users can only be deleted when there are no associated patients. You may want to reassign the users's patients to another provider, or make the user inactive. Users with associated clients and clinical notes cannot be deleted

Deleting Patients, Referrals, Insurance Companies, and Users

From the Patient, Referral source, Insurance Company, or User (SA only) window:

Select the name.
Select Delete... from Patients, Users (SA). Referrals Sources, or Insurance Menu.
Select Yes to delete.

Clinical Notes and Treatment Plans

Only those notes or treatment reports that have not been electronically signed can be deleted.

To delete an unsigned note or treatment report:

Select the note in its corresponding tab.
From the right mouse menu, select Delete.
