Enter Treatment Planning information for Intake Notes, Progress Notes Optional Sections, and Outpatient Treatment Plans. You can also set it up to appear in any note or report. Treatment Planning  consists of treatment modalities or recommendations, confirmation of patient review of the treatment plan, and justification for continued treatment.

Primary Treatment

add treatment Click Add a Treatment to enter a treatment or recommendation.

down arrow Click the down arrows for pick lists. Select a Treatment from the list or enter one by typing in the field. Enter the frequency, CPT code, and the number of sessions needed for the primary treatment. Click Ok to save.

Treatment Orientation: Enter a treatment orientation or approach from the drop-down list or enter your own by typing in the field. Enter the estimated duration of treatment, as well as the start and estimated end dates.

Patient Review: Click the checkbox to confirm that the Patient has reviewed the treatment plan and indicated agreement and understanding?.

Other Treatment - Adjunctive and Collateral

Click on Other Treatment at the top of the window.

add treatment Click Add a Treatment to enter an Adjunctive Treatment, the frequency, and the provider. Click Ok to save.

Enter Collateral Treatment(s) from drop-down pick lists, or enter your own by typing in the field.

To Edit

Select treatment from list and click Edit Treatment, or double-click on the treatment.

trashTo Delete

Select treatment and press Delete key, or drag and drop into trashcan.

Justification for Continued Treatment

Click on Justification for Continued Treatment at the top of the window. Click the down arrow for a pick list in the justification field. Select an item and click the Ok button to the right of the field. You can type your own justification in the field, then click OK to enter it. You can enter as many justifications as appropriate.
