Psychological Testing

Psychological tests and results can, by default, be entered in an Intake Note Other Sections, Progress Note Optional Sections, and in the Outpatient Treatment Plan Other Sections. You can also set it up to appear in any note or report.

 

Click Psychological Testing on the side menu bar.

 

1.Enter the Report Date and the testing date(s) in the fields provided.
2.Enter the examiner or person who administered the test(s)
3.Click the blue underlined text Pick list for tests to select tests to enter. You may also type in the field. Include all test for which you are recording the results or findings.
4.Enter the Results or Findings.
 

Click the Clear text at the bottom of the window to clear and delete all entries for Psychological Testing.

 

Spell CheckSpell check the Results/Findings by selecting Spell Check from the File menu or click the button on the toolbar. Be sure your cursor is in the Results/Findings field.

Copy and Paste

You can copy and paste findings from another document by using the Edit menu in the document's application. Open or switch to the application where the document is located (e.g. MS Word). Select Edit...Select All or mark a section of document to copy. Select Edit...Copy. Switch to Psychological Testing screen in QuicDoc and click in the Findings text box.  Press Ctrl-V to paste, or right-click and select paste.

 

Voice recognition

This is an ideal area to use a voice recognition program, such as Dragon.

 

Attachments

You can also attach the document to the patient's record. From QuicDoc's main screen, select the patient. Select Patients...Attachments. Create a link to the document.
