QuicDoc Setup |
Top Previous Next |
The QuicDoc Administrator is responsible for setting up and otherwise maintaining the software. This includes functions such as setting up Users and User rights, global preferences, and much more.
Note for the Administrator who will also be using QuicDoc as a clinician seeing patients: If you have not already set yourself up in the Setup Wizard as a User, you will need to do so. As both the Administrator and a User, you will have two logon IDs and Passwords. Using the User logon will limit the patient list to just your patients, if other clinicians will also be using the program. Using the Administrator logon allows you to see all User information, Administrative Preferences, perform other Administrative functions, and if on a network see all users and all patient records. Preferences Log on with the Administrative ID and password to set global preferences including password options, word usage, and electronic records. Setting up Users This required the Administrative logon. When you add new users, you assign passwords and User IDs, and set appropriate levels of access. Clinical Data Lists If you are using QuicDoc on a network, or have more than one user, you may want to assign editing the lists to one or two individuals. These lists are global, that is any changes made to the lists appear for all users. The lists can be printed out for review before editing. Report The Report Header appears at the top of your notes and reports, as well as letters, memos, and faxes. You can have multiple headers. By default the first header entered is the default header. Documentation Setup You can customize your notes and treatment plans by selecting which sections you want to use. Only these sections will appear in the listbar(s). Custom Documentation Forms or Screens You can create your own screens or forms to capture specific data, or capture data in other ways. Set up e-Prescribe The Electronic Prescribing System in QuicDoc will allow a doctor to prescribe medications and transmit them to a pharmacy using electronic connection over the internet or using automatic faxing. Customize Some other ways you can customize QuicDoc include adding user fields for patient information and customizing the scheduler.
